The Sorrows and Joys of Life

My next post was going to be full of pictures of Trey and Deborah's beautiful wedding.  However, I was only back in Nondalton two days when my Dad had a heart attack.  I flew back to North Carolina as fast as I could and met my Mom, two brothers and sister at the hospital.  The next day we all watched together as he passed away.
I love my Dad.  He is an awesome man.  I say that in the present tense because I believe in eternal life made available to us through our saviour and redeemer Yeshua (Jesus) our Messiah.  My Dad loved Yahwh with all of his heart, mind and soul and he loved his neighbor more than he loved himself as was evidenced by his actions.  I look forward to the day we are reunited in the presence of our heavenly Father.

I left the day after the funeral for Colorado so I could be with Abigail for the birth of my first Grandbaby.  Ronen Eliyahu Warren was born the next morning, June 12th, 2014.  Yahwh's timing is perfect!

I can't believe that all 7 lbs. and 12 oz. of Ronen was hidden inside of Abigail.  She did not look that big!
Dayton has been experiencing a lot of firsts.  He changed his first diaper and this picture was taken after his first mostly sleepless night as Ronen hadn't figured out that we sleep at night and stay awake during the day :)
A week after Ronen was born, you can hardly tell that Abigail just had a baby.
Ronen's two Grandma's sitting in the shade and enjoying their Grandbaby.  This picture was taken a few hours before they took me to the airport to head back to Alaska. More bittersweet moments :) I was anxious to get back to Paul and the kids in Alaska, but I sure am going to miss holding Ronen.  Paul can't wait to see his Grandson and all his Uncles and Aunts are excited too.  We need to perfect the beaming technology so we can make regular visits :)

Surely my next post will be full of pictures of Trey and Deborah's beautiful wedding :)

I've been so blessed to follow the adventures of your family online for a while now. So, I wanted to take a moment and offer my condolences. I remember how hard it was for my mom as her own father passed away. May you feel near to the Father in this time of need.

I am most sorry that the passing of your Dad occured, most hard I am sure. Harder still to take joy in all that has been blessed to your family of most recent. The baby is a doll and I hope all went well and nursing is going well. I look forward to seeing wedding pictures. Rest well, what a world wind tour you have been on. Faithful reader from Maine.

Brendemuhl Family-

We're so sorry for your loss. How privileged we feel to have met your grandfather at Abigail's wedding weekend! We camped almost across from them and shared about living in Michigan- they are such a sweet couple.

Speaking of the wedding- Mrs. Brendemuhl, we always remember meeting you for the first time. We were "new" to the whole group and didn't know anyone, and you came right up and made us feel so welcomed! Just wanted you to know that you blessed us- thank you for sharing Yeshua's love! We saw you briefly at Family Week but a week simply isn't long enough to catch up with so much flurry of activities!

Congratulations on the new grand baby!! Abigail has been on my heart the past few weeks and I've been praying for her upcoming delivery...imagine my surprise when I saw that Ronen had already arrived! Halleluyah!

Sending you all much love!

Thanks John, Debbie, Lynn, Lea and Victoria. I appreciate your prayers and condolences.

Victoria, that was my parents first time being around the Family Week/ Wedding crowd and having that connection with you and Michigan made them feel more at home. Thank you!
