Summer Fishing

We took some time to go fishing a few times this summer.
Supper is much better when you go out and catch it fresh.

 Fishing is very tiring :)
Oh, to be young enough to be able to sleep anywhere.
Salmon turning red which means they are ready to lay their eggs.
We also went out and got our annual Red Salmon harvest.

Everyone was eager to try out our new toy.  We got a vacuum packer to put the salmon in before we freeze it.

A couple of the kids went underwater and acted like fish to try out the GoPro Joshua got for his birthday.

Summer Work

Here are a few photos of our summer projects.
Paul and Quentin spent quite a lot of time in the shop working on 4 wheelers, boats, planes and anything else that needed fixing.

Joshua on the roof giving the windows some much needed paint.
Benjamin and Sarah are helping out painting the porch.
Quentin is thinking about all the work to be done.
Paul gave a flight review to a neighbor in his Beaver float plane.

We are still eating food out of the garden. Praise Yah for His abundance!

With Abigail and Deborah both gone Sarah is eager to take up the slack.  She made sure I knew this was her first time taking something out of the oven by herself.
